Michelle G. Roberts, LMT, founder and CEO, of PSOAS Massage Therapy Offices, P.C. dba/ Dynamics Sports Therapy since May 2000. As a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist for the past 20 years, Ms. Roberts also has experience with the treatment application of Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release techniques on over 2000 patients suffering from orthopedic conditions resulting in chronic pain.

At Dynamic Sports Therapy patients receive three sessions combined for the price of one (Massage, Stretching, and Therapeutic Exercise).
Who becomes a therapist?
Massage is a healing art as well as a science; it requires a balance of anatomical and physiological knowledge, clinical skills, sensitivity, and awareness. Everyone has the innate resources to touch another with care and confidence, however, it takes someone that has a sincere desire to help others, along with a commitment to the time, energy, and focus necessary for the training process in order to become a competent practitioner.

Treatment Plan
All Dynamic Sports Therapy (DST) patients will receive treatment consisting of DST 6 steps maintenance program. This program is designed to assists patients with maintaining their muscles, body mechanics, and postural alignment of the neuromusculoskeletal system. The therapist teaches patients how to maintain their bodies physically by incorporating stretching techniques, massage therapy, and therapeutic exercise.
Our design of this program will definitely raise the quality standard of a massage therapy session. Since most massages is received in a health care setting, spas, saloon, and hotel only consist of one modality or technique.
Seven Steps to improving your chronic pain and discomfort
-Evaluation and Assessment (ROM testing, manual traction, and muscle testing done by the therapist)
-Active/Passive PNF Stretching (promotes flexibility to joints and muscles)
-Moist heat/ice therapy ( applied depending on chronic or acute condition)
-DST Medical Massage to promotes circulation, alleviate pain, trigger points, muscle spasms, and stiffness.
-Connective Tissue Scraping (detecting and breaking up scar tissue, applied only after your 4th session)
-Trigger Point Therapy (detecting and deactivating trigger points. applied after 4th session)
-Kinesiotaping use for athletics and non-athletic for acute pain, chronic pain, and postural alignment
-Therapeutic Exercise (strengthen phase to weaker muscle groups)
