TRIGGER POINT THERAPY-  Deep Tissue


Works to locate and alleviate hypersensitive areas (trigger points) is frequently developed in the muscle fibers subjected to over use or postural fatigue.  Those localized areas have excess neurological activity that may refer pain locally to  characteristic target areas in the body.  Finger pressure is applied to painful irritated areas in the muscles in order to break the cycle of spasm and pain.  Often used to deal with chronic pain.

SWEDISH


Application of strokes including effleurage, kneading, tapping friction and vibration to the soft tissues of the body with special emphasis on enhancing circulation and relieving muscle tension. Oil or Massage gel is used on the skin as a lubricant and active and passive movements are also employed to increase range of motion (ROM).

KINESIOTAPING


Kinesiotaping often used on athletics, can also be used on mon-athletics for acute pain, muscle spasm, swelling, inflammation, chronic pain, joint stabilization, posture and structure alignment 

COLD THERAPY


Cold therapy used for acute pain, for muscle spasm, swelling and inflammation

myofascial release- DEEP TISSUE


Myofascial release techniques uses slow, penetration strokes to soften and stretch connective tissue associated with muscles. Often used to deal with chronic pain.

Some of the techniques and strokes applied in a session  are compression, jostling, effleurage, connective tissue scraping, manual traction/decompression, friction, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.

- ​The therapist assess and treat patients or clients affected by chronic and acute pain from pathologies such as: Sciatica, Scoliosis, Arthritis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Headache, Rotator Cuff Injuries, nerve impingement, Tendinitis, plantarfacitis, Cervical Thoracic and Lumbar Spine injuries. This work is detail work to specific region usually in 30mins session. Also stretching and range of motion (ROM) is applied.


MASSAGE THERAPY-  Promotes  soft tissue healing, enhance circulation, decrease pain and spasm, increases mobility, restores posture and function. Overall massage therapy maintain mental and physical health and well being.


ASSISTED STRETCHES - is incorporated with therapeutic exercise and is used to increase flexibility, strength, coordination, neuromuscular reeducation, and to restore posture and function. It increases range of motion and tissue elasticity, relief joint stiffness, and elongates the fascia which provides building together support system to stabilize muscles, and organs.



THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE AND STRETCHES


Therapeutic exercise and stretches promotes a better supply of blood and oxygen to muscles than, complete rest, and should pursed in less injury to muscles or joints, also strengthen weaker muscles to enable stabilization of bony structure to the skeletal System.
